Rooms may only be booked by University of Newcastle students and staff, and are to be used for University study and related activity. Please note the following:
- The blue INFO button details available seats, technology and equipment for a room.
- Study rooms are prioritised for GROUP bookings, with groups able to book 2 hours per day.
- Longer bookings may be requested by submitting a request in advance using the Ask the Library form.
- Bookings may be cancelled by clicking on the cancellation link in your confirmation email. If you no longer have this email or the link fails to open, please contact a Library Service Zone and a staff member will be able to help you.
- Bookings will be cancelled automatically if they contravene the Library Use Policy

Media Rooms may only be booked by University of Newcastle students and staff to be used for University study and related activity. Please note:
- The Media Rooms are for recording audio and video specifically. These rooms are not a study space.
- L307 Film Studio 1 and L338 Film Studio 2 are space with video recording and green screen facilities.
- L337 Podcast Studio space has podcasting microphones and mixing.
- Access to Media Rooms is given by Library Staff. Please see Library Staff to access the room.
